In this task we were asked to create a website layout/mock-up for a website for “Skateboard Sussex” to get familiarized with the principles of Interface design and the ability to create layouts using Photoshop.

After browsing to select suitable images I started and created a new project within Photoshop given the correct dimensions of 1600×1000 pixels.

A lot of experimentation and different ideas brought me to the final Workshop design as seen below which incorporates a lot of elements I would expect to see on a grunge type Skateboarding website.
I chose a wallpaper to span the entire width of the website which seemed to work best given my choice of design, I added a navigator and footer to the website and a main container to hold the content such as a hero image and text

The logo was created using a grunge type font that was rotated and a cutout of a skateboarder that was vectored and coloured in.
