This is the final piece for my website Hero image for this task.

I decided on creating an image in the theme of climate change and after scouring the internet in order to find suitable images I quickly knew that I wanted to depict a major city underwater to showcase what could happen and I wanted to have the city fully submerged to hopefully gain interest and shock value from the people viewing the banner which would then result in conversions “click through”.

I have added a screenshot fro my Photoshop file below and the separate images that were required to make the final piece.

I decided on a simple yet effective way to convey my message by showing a tagline and a call to action over an image that was showing a change in the water levels in the environment.

I decided on creating a background that covers the entire website to more strongly show the difference between the two while also incorporating a banner in the design.

The image below shows the final product while the ones after give an insight into how the website was layered and created.
